Experienced Adjudicator, Choreographer & Teacher in all dance genres (Jazz, Tap, Hip hop, Contemporary, Ballet, National Character, Musical Theatre etc basically all styles of dance). I am both an International and National Adjudicator of dance, I have judged the Hollywood Bound Nationals Finals and Showcase National Finals, which are the qualifiers for the Dancers World Cup held in Barcelona. Qualified Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dancing syllabus. Professional dancer with the National Theatre Ballet School & South Australian Ballet Company plus commercial dancer with various Musicals, Pantomimes and Television performances. Training in Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing / L.G.T.D.A Newcastle Tap / F.A.T.D. I have conducted workshops in all genres and worked alongside several professionals in the industry such as Justice Crew, Tap Dogs, Winner of The Voice, Commercial Bands, Choreographers from “So You Think You Can Dance”, artists from Australia’s Got Talent and X Factor, Performers from Moulin Rouge the movie, Oh What a Night, We Will Rock You, Grease, Billy Elliot, Aladdin, Cats, Sydney Dance Company, Bondi Ballet Company & Australian Ballet Company, Bondi Ballet Company & New Zealand Ballet Company, Sydney Dance Company to name a few. 35 years’ experience in teaching students from 2yrs - Full time Students at Professional. Past students reached top 10 "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE”, several students are now performing professionally around the world in various Ballet Companies, Moulin Rouge Paris, Cruise Ships, back up dancers for the likes of Brittney Spears, Celine Dion, Jessica Malbou etc, Television, featured Actors in movies like the Divergent Series, Unbroken, Love Simon etc & TV series like “Flash”, Marvel Legends, Billy Elliott and various musicals, MTV, Dance Academy, Packed to the Rafters, Home & Away etc & or became teachers themselves. Choreographer of several winning eisteddfod routines for solos, duos and troupes, with marks of 99/100 and standing ovations from judges and audience. Choreographed full productions such as The Nutcracker, Copellia, Joseph & the Technicolour Dream Coat, Moulin Rouge, Wizard of OZ, Mary Poppins, Grease, tribute to Hans Christian Anderson & Cats etc Choreographed school productions for Rock Eisteddfod and Festival performances. The Acting Factory “much to do about nothing” to name a few. I was Event coordinator of the Mayoral Musically, held at the JOAN for several years. Stage manager at various productions, Australia Day events and several festivals. I was the Artistic Director of the Canoe Slalom World Olympic Championships Opening Ceremony 2005, coordinating full production, auditioning hundreds of students, conducted several rehearsals, choreographed, designed and made over 130 costumes, choreographed cheerleaders, coordinated flag bearers, Aboriginal performers & Marching Band. Onsite Inspections, over seen lighting and sound set up. Artistic Director / Choreographer, Costume Designer of the United Youth Performance Company Performance of The Nutcracker & Mary Poppins at Panthers Evans Theatre, which was a sell-out performance. Choreographer for the Penrith Musical Comedy Company production of Oliver. Choreographer for the Hills Musical Theatre Company’s production of 42nd Street. With several years’ experience as a professional performer, Teacher, Adjudicator, Choreographer & Event Co-ordinator, there is a great amount of knowledge that can be pass on to up and coming dancers and future teachers. The main focus is technique and stage performance skills and an understanding of what is required, to achieve a professional standard for this industry as a performer. With several professional contacts within the industry, there is the opportunity to help performers get seen by the relevant people. Whom of which could possibly help them to escalate their career in the industry as professionals. I have a WWCC and understand importance of child safety. I hold a degree in Event Management and a Degree in Marketing. I have years of experience as an adjudicator being an international judge. I have also done voice critique as well as written I have been a regular adjudicator for EBSDN eisteddfods for Jenny Jones. These eisteddfods are now the qualifiers required for the Showcase Nationals. Other references can be provided upon request. I am a strong advocate for the performing arts in Western Sydney.
