Convert your music to MP3

Competitions play MP3 files. If your track is an M4A, WAV, WMA or anything else, convert it here first, save the MP3 to your computer, then upload it to your storage.

You may not need this page

When you upload a music file to your storage we convert it to MP3 for you. Use this page when a file will not upload at all, or when you want the MP3 on your own computer.

Music from iTunes, Spotify or Apple Music will not convert

Those files are licensed to play on your own device only and are copy protected, so no converter can open them. Use a track you have bought outright as a file, or a copy supplied by your studio.

Option 1 · Try this converter first

The one we recommend. It handles the widest range of files and works on a phone as well as a computer.

FreeConvert — convert to MP3

Opens in a new tab so you keep this page. Choose your file, convert it, then download the MP3 to your computer and come back here.

Still stuck after trying this one? Work down the page — there are two more converters below.

Option 2 · A second converter

Runs inside this page on a computer, and in its own tab on a phone. Drop your file in, convert, then download the MP3.

If nothing appears in the box above, your browser has blocked it. Open the same converter in its own tab instead.

On a phone this converter works best in its own tab. Open it there, convert your file, then come back.

Option 3 · Send it to us and we will convert it

Our own converter. Your file goes to the MusicUploads server, comes back as an MP3, and nothing is added to your storage.

Converting here does not use a song slot and does not add anything to your storage. Download the MP3, then upload it in the normal way.

Nothing you convert on this page is stored by MusicUploads or counted against your plan. Converted files are held only long enough for you to download them.
